Christmas Day

Chase and Aunt Francie posing for the camera. Aunt Francie can't get enough of Chase!

Thank you for my new truck Grandma! Can I drive now??

Chase and cousin Brooke relaxing after a hard day's work of opening Presents!

Carrots again!!

Grammy got Chase a Sweet Pea stocking, which couldn't have been more perfect because we called Chase "Sweet Pea" during my pregnancy since we didn't know what we were having.

Chase didn't need any help opening, he had it pretty well under control.

Give it here mom!

Chase knew just what to do with his new Pooh toy. Just push on the butt and off crawling he goes!

Stand back Mom ! I can do this one on my own!

Chase was pretty excited about his stacking rings!

Chase got a camo bear from his Grammy, how fitting! The orange hunters vest is for Chase. He's going to look adorable in it!

Christmas Eve

Chase spent Christmas Eve day with Grandma and Grandpa Green, Taylor and Brooke. I thought he looked adorable in his candy cane pants, but Kyle told Chase to never let Mommy dress him again!

Chase got to open up one present on Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Green's. His present was a a sock monkey ornament. The ornament was perfect because Kyle and I call Chase our little Monkey!

Chase was ready to go to bed by this point!

Chase was tucked all warm in his bed, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there!

Christmas in St. Joseph

Check out Chase's new shirt Grammy got him! I made sure to take a few pictures of him before we left the hotel. We stayed at Stoney Creek Inn, our favorite place. Chase was supposed to go swimming with Brooke and Taylor, but he decided to take a nap with Grandpa instead.

Chase seemed to really enjoy the Sponge Bob paper! He had to sit and chit chat with Spong Bob for a minute before opening his present.

Chase did a good job of opening his presents. It consisted more of flinging the present around and gumming the paper, but he did pretty well!

I couldn't resist putting Chase in the box. I thought he would be crazy about the boxes, but he cared more about the paper. We had to put his paci in his mouth to keep the paper from going in his mouth.

Chase got to meet his Great Granny and Grandpa for the first time during our trip to St. Joe. He loved his Granny and couldn't stop staring at his Great Grandpa. I think he was looking at him and thinking his bald head looked kinda familiar.... :)

This was supposed to be Chase's naptime, but it looks like it turned into Daddy's naptime instead. Chase just layed their and played with Kyle's hands and hair while he slept.

Pictures from Thanksgiving (A little late, I know!)

Chase snuggling with his Uncle Brian. He loves his Uncle Brian. Probably because he is always sneaking him table food.
Would somebody please feed me some turkey??? All I got was some sweet potatoes!!

Chase had sweet potatoes for his first Thanksgiving meal. He loves them! Sweet potatoes and carrots are his favorite.

Mommy and Chase on Thanksgiving. Not sure what he was making the pitiful face about?

Gotta Love the Santa Hat!

Chase loved wearing his Santa hat! I think he knew how adorable he looked. He looked like a little elf with his ears sticking out. I love how the sparkly Christmas lights framed his little face!

So Handsome!!

I dressed Chase up in his little argyle sweater vest and dress pants, and just looked so handsome! He was such a good sport while we kept changing his clothes and making him pose. Probably helped that we had the TV on the baby channel for him!

I wish, I wish, I wish!!!

We tortured Chase and stripped him down to his diaper and a Santa hat to pose for pictures, and he took the opportunity to show off his modeling skills. I can't tell if he is posing for a swimsuit ad or wishing for the biggest toy ever to chew on.

Dear Santa....

We took Chase to see Santa at Bass Pro and hs did surprisingly good. We were afraid he would cry, especially when the kids in front of us started crying. But the lady that works at Bass Pro did a little dance for him to distract him. I think all Chase cared about was trying to figure out how to get her jingle bells on her hat in his mouth. When I handed Chase over to Santa, he just stared him up and down and then looked over at me as if he was saying "who the heck is this guy?!"

Chase has been talking up a storm lately! He is trying really hard to say da-da. I swear I have heard him say real words!
Just yesterday he pulled up onto his hands and knees for the first time and rocked back and forth. Going to be an early crawler!

Chase's First Halloween

Chase's first Halloween turned out to be a great day! I took the day off so I could parade him around town in his turtle costume. We visited Grammy at work, his teachers at school, and State Farm. Chase made out like a bandit and got some good loot after a night of trick-or-treating!

I decided to finally create a family blog so all of our friends and family that don't live near can be kept up to date on all of the new things our family is doing. With our little Chase now being 6 months old, there is sure to be something new happening every day!
