10 on Tuesday
1. Christmas is over, and now it’s time to clean up the mess in the house! We had a WONDERFUL Christmas, but I’m ready to have my house back.
2. Where in the world am I going to put all of these toys?? I bought storage bins so we could put a bunch of toys away, but it’s going to be hard to pick out which ones to put away because Chase literally plays with everything.
3. I had to go to the doctor yesterday to have a test done, and they made me step on the scale. Tennis shoes and all. How cruel is that to make somebody get on the scale 2 days after Christmas? Not cool.
4. Colton is growing like a weed. I originally thought that he would be smaller than Chase, but now I’m not so sure. He’s really starting to fill out. I love the little chubby thighs!
5. Our tree is now adorned with a bazillion handmade ornaments that Chase made at preschool. I absolutely love them!
6. Colton made us a present too. It’s his hand prints made into Mr. and Mrs. Claus with a cute little poem and then they framed it for us. I love it!
7. Chase’s Christmas party was so much fun last week. Santa came and Chase sat on his lap and told him he wanted a rocket ship. But he kind of acted like “why am I telling him again? I already told him once!” Colton of course slept through the whole party, just like he slept through Christmas day.
8. Chase’s new favorite movie is Polar Express. I may have already said this before, but he loves it. I told him that we get to go on a train like that and go up a big mountain and he cannot wait.
9. Now that Christmas is over Chase has been telling us he wants a choo-choo birthday. His birthday is not until May and he had a Choo-Choo birthday last year!
10. We have BIG plans for New Years Eve! We are staying at home with the kiddos! We will probably just get a movie to watch after the boys go to bed and then call it a night. I know, I know, big party animals. We should really try to tone it down a bit.

10 on WEDNESDAY!
1. Christmas is almost here!! I cannot wait! Santa probably went a little overboard, but Santa has a hard time resisting buying stuff he knows the boys will like.
2. Thank goodness I’m off next Monday so I can have a day to figure out where the heck I’m going to put all of the stuff the boys get from Santa and from both sets of grandparents and their uncles. Word on the street is that Uncle Chad went a little crazy buying for Chase this year. J
3. I had this grand, master plan all ready to set into motion this week to start getting Colton to sleep through the night by cutting out his middle of the night feeding. Dr. Harris said that he no longer needs that feeding. Well, Colton must have had a plan of his own because he started doing it on his own. Such a good little boy!
4. Colton is smiling like crazy now and cooing up a storm. I LOVE those baby coos!!
5. Chase and Colton have a big Christmas party at daycare tomorrow. Santa will be there to read the kids a story and they’re having a gift exchange. They all drew names and got to pick out gifts to give to the name they drew. Chase REALLY likes the car we bought for Wyatt though…. I’m taking off tomorrow afternoon so I can go to the party.
6. I cannot wait to see Chase’s face on Christmas morning. He already lights up when he sees presents for other people, I can only imagine what he will do when he sees all of the presents that morning that are for him. Plus, he gets to open Colton’s presents too.
7. Chase survived his trip to St. Joe this last weekend. He did however end up getting the same stomach bug I had while he was there. Probably T.M.I but it involved some serious diarrhea. His little bottom was so red. I felt so bad for him. I was miserable making 5,000 trips to the bathroom, I can’t imagine doing that in a diaper.
8. Kyle and I are tossing around the idea of trading my 4Runner in for something bigger, a Tahoe to be exact. I have my eyes on one, but just not sure that I want to start over with a car payment. The extra room sure would be nice though!! But then we also need to still find a new house before Chase starts school. Yes, he’s only 2 ½, but before we know it he will be enrolling in Kindergarten. L
9. Chase has been a pure nightmare getting up in the morning during the week. He gets up and says “I wanna go night, night. I wanna stay home.” This morning Kyle was getting frustrated with him and he said “Chase Andrew!” Chase replied back in his pissed off 2 year old voice “I NOT Chase Andrew!!” Too funny.
10. I sure hope my Christmas present is here before Christmas, but I’m not counting on it sine the jewelry stores are so busy this time of year. Kyle got me a Mother’s ring with the boy’s birthstones, an Emerald and an Opal. It’s ordered, now just waiting….. So now we HAVE to be done having kids because I won’t be getting another ring. I had no idea those things were so expensive!!

10 on Tuesday
1. Little Colton is 2 months now! Well, I guess he isn't exactly little. He went to the doctor yesterday and now weighs 12 pounds, 2 ounces (85th percentile) and is 23 1/2 inches long (90th percentile). He was smiling like crazy at Dr. Harris, it was too funny. But that quickly ended when it was time to get his shots. I really hate that part. He screamed bloody murder.
2. Chase and Colton went and saw Santa on Sunday. I thought for sure Chase would chicken out and not want to sit on Santa's lap, but he was the complete opposite. He was so excited to go to Santa's house and wasn't so concerned about when it would be his turn. He smiled like crazy when it was his turn and told Santa he wanted a rocket ship. Then we played with monster trucks and a train. Chase DID NOT want to leave "Santa's house."
3. Speaking of the rocket ship, this was the first "Santa" had heard anything about Chas wanting a rocket ship. "Santa" thought he was done!
4. Chase told me last night that his ear hurt and then said "Mommy, I want it off." He could not understand why I couldn't just take his ear off for him.
5. I feel sicker than a dog right now. I had a massive headache come out of nowhere and now I feel extrememly nauseous.
6. I made 5 dozen cookies last night because we were having a cookie exchange at work today. So now I have 5 dozen other cookies to take home and I don't want any of them. The idea of eating them make me feel like I'm going to puke. Chase will take care of them I'm sure!
7. It's time to cut Colton off of his nighttime feeding per the pediatrician. I'm going to wait and do it this weekend when Chase is gone, that way I don't have to worry about keeping him up. Colton is now sleeping until about 3 or 4 in the morning wanting to eat.
8. We talked to the doctor yesterday about getting Colton's tongue tie clipped and he recommended a surgeon to us. We will probably wait until Colton is about 4 months to see how his tongue reflex is doing and then decide then. He said one benefit of leaving it the way it is is that if Colton is ever knocked unconscious then his tongue won't fly back and cut off his breathing. But I'm more worried about the social issue of it and the fact that he can't hold on to a paci, and he REALLY wants a paci. We can either clip it now or wait and see what happens with it. The Dr did agree with me though that it looks pretty tight. It's not a 'now or never' type of deal, so we can have it done at anytime. I prefer to do it now while he is still little.
9. Colton has also decided that he hates tummy time. When we put him on his tummy he is fine for a few minutes but then starts screaming. He can already use his legs to scoot a few inches and all he wants to do is stand on our laps. He's not even big enough to be holding up his head fully but wants to stand. He has BIG dreams! :)
10. Chase referred to Colton as "my brother" last night and it just melted my heart. I can't watch to watch them grow up together and see the bond that they form.
2. Chase and Colton went and saw Santa on Sunday. I thought for sure Chase would chicken out and not want to sit on Santa's lap, but he was the complete opposite. 10 on WEDNESDAY
1. Yes, I am slacking big time. So 10 on Wednesday this week.
2. Chase and I have gotten rid of our bug we had. Kyle on the other hand has been put on another round of antibiotics, a steroid, and vicodine. His strep throat got that bad. And Lord have mercy on me for having to put up with it! :) I say it all the time, but if it was up to Men to have babies the world would come to an end. They are such wimps!
3. I am am officially back at work. I HATED leaving my baby, but I was pretty ready to get back to work and get back into a routine. Plus I missed all of my friends at work.
4. The other night while Chase was sitting on the potty eating a blizzard (actually, I was feeding it to him) he looked down at his pee-pee and said "I don't want that no more. It broken. It got a hole." Made me laugh so hard!! He was dead serious. He didn't understand why I couldn't just get rid of it for him.
5. Today was a fun day. NOT! I had an IUD put in and it hurt like hell, I'm not going to lie. I feel absolutely fine now, just a little cramping, but it did not feel that great going in. She had to tilt my cervix and it pretty much felt like a semi-truck was trying to drive through me.
6. Colton goes for his two month appointment next Monday, which means shots :(
7. This was our first week paying double day care. Fun times! Kyle doesn't even know how much we are paying now, he said not to tell him. Probably afraid he'll have a heart attack.
8. I realized this week how much I love the kids daycare. They are spoiling Colton rotten and are really helping Chase adjust to everything. His teacher checked out a bunch of books from the library for him about being a big brother and having a new baby in the house. Well, I guess it was the "library school bus" as Chase calls it. They have the Bookmobile Jr. come to school every month and the kids get to checkout books. Chase has checked out the same tractor book the last 3 months. Surely there is a limit....
9. I still have a ton of Christmas shopping to get done. Chase's final present was delivered yesterday, thanks to the Disney store. It's a big Mater truck. Believe it or not, they are IMPOSSIBLE to buy in the stores. You can get the "new" mater, but not the original Mater that was in the first Cars movie.
10. I get to go to Tequila's tomorrow for my work Christmas celebration and I am so excited! Then on Saturday night we are going out with a bunch of friends for my friend Melissa's husband's 30th Birthday.

10 on Tuesday
1. Today is my last day of maternity leave. I go back to work tomorrow! :(
2. Last week was a busy week! It was my mom's 60th birthday, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday! WHEW!
3. Black Friday was a blast! We started out by waiting in line at Toys R Us at 8:30 pm until they opened at 10:00pm. I was after a swing set for the kids, and they ended up handing out tickets for the "hot items" to those standing in line, and I ended up getting the last ticket for the swing set. Thank goodness! Then we hit up Walmart and Target. I was in bed by 9:00 am for a loooong nap before going to pick up the boys from Grandma's.
4. We had a very exciting drive home the other night, atleast from Chase's view from the back seat. We had a big boulder chasing us, he saw a choo-choo fall off a bridge into the water, we passed Lightning McQueen, and finally a monster truck crashed into the big boulder that had been chasing us.
5. Colton started daycare yesterday :( Chase is very protective over him, he didn't want any other kids messing with Colton or getting too close.
6. I went back to the OB two weeks ago and she said that my episiotomy incision had torn, so she numbed me and did some more cutting. So that is finally starting to heal!
7. Kyle has 4 nights of basketball this week. The money will be nice, but it will definitely suck not having him home my first week back at work. Going to take me some time to back in the swing of things. I'm a little nervous about getting everybody ready and out of the house on time tomorrow morning!
8. We've got our Christmas tree up and Chase loves to look at all the ornaments. He thinks the round ornaments are balls, so we keep having to have a talk about how we cannot bounce or throw them.
9. Last week we all (except for Colton) ended up sick. Chase had the flu and strep and was put on an antibiotic. I ended up with the flu stuff and strep too and was also put on an antibiotic. I'm hoping Colton won't get any of the crud, he's too young!
10. Colton is 7 weeks old today!

10 on Tuesday
1. Chase: "Mommy".
Me: "What Chase?"
Chase: "I said a bad word."
Me: "What did you say?"
Chase: "Hissssss" (sounds like a cat hissing)
Oh My.
2. The other day I asked Chase if he wanted to put Fruit Loops in the potty and then shoot them with his peepee. He said "Yeah, Yeah!" and him and Kyle took off towards the bathroom. Kyle stopped at the bathroom and Chase kept on walking. He turns to Kyle and in the most serious voice I have ever heard he says "I'm going to go get my gun, OK Daddy?" Wrong gun Chase.
3. Basketball season is in full swing. I will be a lonely mommy with two kiddos three nights this week. Once I get everybody bathed and into bed, it's all good. It's just really stressful for about an hour giving seperate baths and getting both boys to bed at the same time, while still reading with Chase. It's a very hectic hour. There have been several nights that I have skipped dinner and end up eating cereal after they go to bed. Cereal is good stuff! :)
4. I am so ready for Thanksgiving next week! Or should I say Black Friday? It's something my mom and I have done together for years, and I look forward to it every year. Especially now that I have kiddos to buy for.
5. So the house that we were in LOVE with just down the road from Chase's preschool dropped the price and we got very excited. Two days later it was under contract, but not by us. :(
6. I told Chase that before Santa comes this year he will have to help me pick out some toys to put away so we can make room for new toys. He said "Ok Mommy." We'll see if he really thinks it's OK....
7. I'm excited for Christmas this year because Chase is old enough know to really understand. He gets really excited when he sees a Christmas tree or Santa Claus. He talks about going to see Santa and telling him what he wants so he can open presents. I'm willing to bet some money that when we go see Santa he will chicken out.
8. Colton's doctor put him on soy formula for his colic. It seems to have helped out a LOT. He still has some really painful gas and will cry, but nothing like what he was doing before. Before the soy, he would just pull his legs up, clench his fists and just scream bloody murder and then just cry endlessly. Then he would just stop like somebody had flipped a switch. It was awful to watch. Chase was the same way. Colic is an evil thing. Babies should not have to go through that.
9. Chase is really showing an interest in sitting on the potty now. He will sit there for quite a while. But of course I'm bribing him with treats. This morning he made a sound with his mouth that sounded like "Pssssss" and then stood up really excited and then said "I did it Mommy! I did it!" Chase, just because you make a sound like you're peeing doesn't mean you really went pee. I just had to laugh at him. So cute.
10. So, I just found out today that they are making a Cars 2 movie and State Farm will be sponsoring it again. Chase will freak out. He LOVES the Cars movie. When the first one came out, my whole department got to go see it during work hours at the cost of State Farm. It was so much fun. I have probably watched Cars more than 100 times. Our whole family has the movie memorized.
11. My OB wants to see me first thing in the morning. Either my episiotomy didn't heal right or the doctor that stitched me up did something wrong. Not real sure, but they want to see me first thing. I'm a little nervous. I don't want to experience any more pain down there. I knew there was something wrong about two weeks after I had Colton and Kyle kept telling me I needed to go to the doctor. But I didn't. So now he is saying "I told you so."
Me: "What Chase?"
Chase: "I said a bad word."
Me: "What did you say?"

Oh My.

1 month old!
Colton is 1 month old today! And we had some major success last night. He has learned to put himself to sleep now and only wakes up when it's time to eat during the night. I rock him until he starts to fall asleep and then lay him down in his bed while he is still awake. Last night he went to bed at 7:30 and woke to eat at 11 and 3, and then got up in the morning at 7. Yeah! Mission accomplished, despite the remarks left by complete strangers. :)

Going Private!
To respect the privacy of my family, I have chosen to go private with this blog. If you would like to continue to follow this blog, please send me an email at an-ggreen@hotmail.com and I will add you as an approved viewer.
To Clarify
Due to some very rude comments left on my blog in regards to "Ferberizing" OUR child, let me do some clarification. Our Pediatrician has recommended doing this due our sons being on the high end of weight and size and nutritionally do not need to eat more than once during the night now. He recommended this for our first son and he has turned out wonderfully! Our pediatrician has been doing this for years, he is the highest recommended pediatrician in town. He was even my pediatrician growing up. My child is not crying because he is hungry, he just ate. He is not crying because he needs a diaper change, because it is dry. He cries when his paci falls out of his mouth. That is it. I refuse to take my child out of his crib and hold him just because his paci falls out. I give it back to him and I leave the room. And he goes back to sleep. When does he start crying again? When his paci falls out again. I understand that everybody has different methods of parenting, but it is uneccesary to push your beliefs on somebody else. Due to me going back to work in two weeks, this is what we have chosen to do based on the recommendation of our pediatrician and the fact that it works. I do not base my child rasing on a BOOK. So please do not push your readings on me. I go based on what our doctor recommends, he is the one that does this for a living. I know my child and I know what his cries mean. If he is hungry, I feed him. I he needs to be held, I hold him. If he has a dirty diaper, I change it. If he cries because he wants his paci, I give it to him. Please leave only useful comments, not critical ones. I don't read your blog and criticize your parenting, so don't do that on mine.

1.Colton is now 9 pounds, 8 ounces and 22.5 inches long. He has gained one pound and grown 2.5 inches since birth. Growing like a weed!
Here he is at 4 weeks old:

2. Now that Colton is 4 weeks old, it's time to start putting him on a schedule. He did really good today with the new feeding schedule, didn't miss a beat. Last night was the firsxt night he slept in his crib and it was a long night. He sure can scream loud! If we can just get past this, then it will be all good. Chase was sleeping through the night by 9 weeks, so I'm hoping Colton will do the same.
3. Chsae has a new saying that sounds really cute but is starting to wear on us, it's "I don't want to." Everything we ask him to do, he says "I don't want to." Oh the independence of a 2 year old! :)
4. I go and see Dr. Womack tomorrow. Is it bad that I'm hoping she will find something didn't heal properly and she'll tell me that I can't go back to work for another 6 weeks??
5. Chase favorite "book" to read right now is the Target Toy Book we got in the mail for Christmas. We read it over and over and over and over...He points out what he wants and who he wants to buy it for him. He has specific items for Mommy, Daddy, and Grammy.
6. As I sit here typing this Colton is in his room crying. This "Ferberizing" is really hard but I keep telling myself how important it is that I stick to my guns, or nobody will ever get any sleep around here for a long time. I know a lot of people are against the Ferberizing, but it works. Our Pediatrician swears by it. What I hate though is that Colton's room is right by the living room and the door to downstairs, so he can hear everything we do.
7. I am now down 29 pounds since giving birth to Colton, only 10 more to go!
8. I need to get the birth announcements mailed out but the idea of sitting down and addressing all of those envelopes just sounds awful right now.
9. Right now it looks like we will be taking our trip to Colorado the week of June 27th when the kids daycare is closed, that way I won't have to take off two separate weeks.
10. Kyle and I are so proud of Chase and how he has dealt with having a new baby in the house. He has done so good! He just adores Colton and loves to talk to him and give him toys to play with. He is finally calling him Colton instead of Baby. For the longest time he would correct us if we called him Colton, because according to Chase his name was Baby. But this morning he woke up and went over to Colton and said "Hi Colton, Hi Colton. Mommy, Colton play with my truck today. Okay Mommy?" Colton will often wake up in his swing with a pile of toys on his lap that Chase brought to him. What a nice big brother!

1. Colton is 3 weeks old today! It doesn't even seem possible. The last 3 weeks have flown by!
2. We had a great Halloween. Chase was Thomas the Train and Colton was a pumpkin. We are on candy overload at our house right now. If Chase could have it his way, he would live and breathe candy 24/7. Getting him to bed Halloween night was not fun, getting him up the next morning was even worse. He kept saying he wanted to go Trick or Treating again.
3. We took Chase to HyVee for their Trick or Treats that they had set up, so when we went to HyVee tonight he wanted to walk the route we did on Halloween so he could get a cookie. When I told him that was just for Halloween he said "Where did Halloween go?" So, I bought him a cookie. He knows how to pull my heart strings.
4. Chase's Halloween party at Preschool was a lot of fun. His teacher had bags and bags of candy and she dumped it all in the middle of the rug and just let the kids attack it and fill their own buckets. It was hilarious watching their faces as she dumped all the candy. Chase was pretty shy about it at first, but once he realized what he was supposed to be doing he quickly filled up his bucket.
5. Colton has his 1 month check up next week, and I go see Dr. Womack to have my stitches checked. I still can't believe how fast the time has gone.
6. My "estimated" date of going back to work is December 1. But that may change as the time gets closer and I dread going back. I decided to wait until Spring to start working part-time again. Hurry up Spring! :)
7. My parents told me about this house for sale and Kyle and I went to check it out. It's a log type home, all hardwood and tile flooring throughout the whole house, 10 acres, a lake, and in the country. We fell in love! And they were only asking $169,000 for it. But then we found out it only has 2 bedrooms. Two very big rooms, but only 2. Well crap. Forget that one.
8. We got Colton's newborn pictures back and they turned out so good! Now I need to get the birth announcements ordered and mailed out.
9. Chase is a little parrot lately. We have to watch EVERYTHING we say. He even hears us when we whisper. Time to clean up the mouths!

1. Colton is 2 weeks old today! He had a doctor's appointment this morning and new bone has started to grow where he broke his collar bone and he now weighs 8 pounds, ounces. His collar bone is healing and he is almost back up to his birth weight!
2. Chase and I got our flu shots yesterday. I was so nervous for him that I almost got sick. He cried of course, but he got a lollipop and picked out two stickers he was very proud of. When I got my shot, I could see why he cried. It burned like a B****! But he survived and is now enjoying showing off his bandaid and stickers.
3. I have lost 24 pounds of my pregnancy weight, so just for fun I thought I would try to put on a pair of my pre-baby jeans. I can get my butt and thighs in them just fine and they fit there, but there is no way in heck those things are getting zipped and buttoned, not even close! What was I thinking trying those on??
4. Friday night we are taking Chase to the corn maze so we can walk through it with our flashlights. We were originally planning on taking Colton too, but it's going to be pretty cold so my mom is going to come to our house to watch him.
5. Chase was originally going to Spiderman for Halloween, but he decided that he wanted nothing to do with it and cries if we try to put it on him. So he went to the store and got to pick out a costume, and he picked out Thomas the Train. Not the cutest thing, but he seems to love it. Colton is going to wear a pumpkin outfit since they don't make costumes small enough for him. Cute!
6. Chase has his first Halloween party at Preschool on Friday, so I get to put together my first set of treat bags for all the kiddos. I'm pretty excited!!
7. My official day of going back to work is December 1st. UGH! I really don't want to go back. 3 months sounds like a long time to be off work, but it has already flown by!
8. Know what I'm looking forward to? When both of my children go to bed and 7:30 and they both sleep through the night. Chase started sleeping through the night by 9 weeks old, so I'm hoping we get that lucky again.....
9. Next week is the first week of November, which means we are only closer to Black Friday. Hopefully I have the stamina this year to shop the day away.
10. Chase's teachers are getting ready to really start working on potty training with some of the kiddos, so I hope Chase is ready. He is starting to show signs that he is ready, and maybe seeing his friends doing it too will help. There are a few people that keep asking Kyle and I why Chase isn't potty trained yet. Really?! Well, he's not ready and we're not forcing it, especially with so many new changes in his life right now. Why do people feel that they have the right to tell you how to raise your kids? You raised your kids, now let us raise ours. He's only 2, and he is a boy.

10 on Tuesday
1. Happy Birthday Kyle!! Kyle turns 32 today!
2. One week ago we were enjoying our first day in the hospital with Colton. It's amazing how fast the time flies once you get home. Those 3 days in the hospital seemed to drag on an on and on....but once we got home the days just fly by. I hate that.
3. Chase has done AMAZING with having a new baby around. He absolutely adores his baby brother. He wants to be the one to wake him up first thing in the morning, he wants to be the one to give him his paci, he brings toys to Colton for him to "play" with, and Chase comes close to tears whenever Colton cries. I can't wait to watch those two grow up together and hopefully be the best of pals.
4. With having two boys, my winters will be filled with lots of "me" time once they get a little bit older. I know Kyle just can't wait until they are old enough to go hunting with him. I can't wait to have the whole house to myself when they they all go hunting! :)
5. Colton currently has his days and nights mixed up, but once he reaches a month old we will start working on turning that around for him. He is currently eating every 3 hours, so he wakes up about that often during the night to eat. Some nights he feels like being up for another two hours after he wakes to eat, which means mommy is up to. He doesn't cry when he is up, he is content on just laying there as long as he has his paci. If the paci falls out, then he screams like crazy. So I am constantly reaching over in his bassinett giving him his paci back.
6. Colton went to the doctor last Friday after we brought him home to have his jaundice and weight checked. He had dropped down to 7 pounds and 10 ounces and he was looking like a pumpkin. So Kyle and I decided to go the formula route after all instead of breastfeeding. So when we went back to the doctor again yesterday, Colton's weight was up to 8 pounds, 2 ounces. I feel a lot less stressed now and am able to spend more time with Chase instead of spending my time as a milking dairy cow.
8. We are planning on taking Chase to the pumpkin patch this weekend and I cannot wait!
9. MU Homecoming is this weekend and I am planning on taking the boys to the parade on Saturday. It's at 12:00 though, which is right at naptime. So we'll have to see how that pans out. I'm sure the candy will be enough of a distraction for Chase! :)
10. Chase has been exposed to Rosieolla (spelling??) at daycare and we thought for sure he was coming down with it yesterday. He had a fever and a rash on his face, but he seems to be doing much better today and I am hoping it was just a fluke and we were able to get away without getting the virus!

It's a BOY!!
Our second son was born on Tuesday, October 12th at 12:34 A.M. Colton James weighed 8lbs, 8oz, and is 20 inches long. He is absolutely perfect! We checked into the hospital Monday night at 6:00pm, they inserted the Cervadil at 8:00 to help soften my cervix with the intentions of pulling it out at 4:30 am on Tuesday and starting the Pitocin at 5:30 am. But by 9:30 pm I was in full labor and at 10:15 Kyle finally had me convinced that I needed to tell the nurse and that the medicine needed to come out. I was dilated 3cm when the cervadil was inserted and was already 5cm when the medicine was pulled out. Within a matter of minutes, I was already dilated to 9cm. The nurse said that she has never seen Cervadil cause labor like that before. I guess Colton was ready to make his arrival! He arrived with a broken collar bone because his shoulders were too wide for my pelvis, which caused another episiotomy. But he is absolutely perfect and we are so excited to have another son!

10 on Tuesday
1. 38 weeks down, only one week to go until induction day!
2. I go back to the doctor again today, I'm hoping she has good news for me again. Last week I was dilated 2cm, it better be more this time!
3. Chase is obsessed with poop lately. When we change his diaper, he wants to see his poop. If he sees bird poop outside, he is just fascinated by it. And if he walks into the bathroom when we are in there, he wants to see. But that is where I draw the line! Gross Chase!
4. I built Chase a garage for his cars last night out of his building blocks. We had somebody here working on the garbage disposal and Kyle was bbqing our dinner, so I was trying to keep Chase entertained. Who knew the garage would be such a big hit. He played with it forever and kept showing it off to Daddy. As soon as he woke up this morning he said "Mommy, I wanna play with my gawage. Pleeease?" He loves it! Mommy was a big hit yesterday!
5. The reason I'm so happy with the garage I made Chase is because he has been all about Daddy lately. I know kids go through that stage, but it sucks for Mommy.
6. Chase had his first preschool pictures last Friday and he did so good! He smiled for the pictures, and was so excited about them. He couldn't stop talking about having his pictures taken with pumpkins when I picked him up. It was really hard to choose just one pose.
7. On Sunday my dad took Chase's 2 year pictures. We went to Shelter Gardens. He did amazing! As soon as we got there, my dad told him to stand in a certain spot. Chase went to the spot, crossed his hands in front of him, smiled real big and said "Cheese!" He did this for about every pose. My camera shy boy has turned into a little poser in a matter of a week. I was so proud of him! Never even had to bribe him with candy. While we were at Shelter, he was chasing a squirrel around a tree trying to scare it. Poor little guy didn't know that squirrels could climb trees. So when the squirrel flew up the side of the tree, it scared him half to death! Funniest thing ever!!
8. These 4 weeks of bed rest have gone by so fast! I'm glad in one way because it makes waiting for baby easier, but it sucks because that means I am just closer to going back to work. I just know that being away from work for 3 months will still not seem like long enough.
9. Congratulations to my dear friend Megan! She is the proud Aunt of a new nephew, Weston Jacob. Claudia didn't know what she was having either, so it was pretty exciting waiting to hear the big news yesterday.
10. I wish the stores would go ahead and post their Black Friday ads online. I hate waiting to see them. I love Black Friday and cannot wait! I have a special account set up at work just for that day.
