12 on Tuesday
1. The weather today is beautiful!! I had the windows down this morning and it was so nice. I think it was like 66 degrees when I left the house.
2. Bronchitis/Pneumonia has been going around the Green family, and it has not been fun! I've been on Codeine cough medicine and a Z pack. The Z pack is now gone as of Saturday but I still cough a lot. I'm trying my best not to take any more Codeine, but it really does help. The part that sucks about having such an awful cough and being pregnant is that I can't help peeing my pants. Enough said.
3. I hope Chase isn't catching this nasty bug. He slept until noon on Sunday, and then was down for a nap by 3:00. At 5:30 Kyle went in and woke him up, and by 7:30 he was ready to go to bed. He's either trying to fight the illness off or he's getting ready to grow 2 feet.
4. Chase's pillow pet should be delivered tomorrow. He has talked about a pillow pet non-stop, so he will probably be pretty happy to finally get one.
5. We were originally going to wait and do the babie's room after he/she was born, but I decided that it might be too stressful since basketball season will probably be starting around the same time for Kyle. So we're going to go ahead and do his/her room. Chase's room is almost done! Once we get his completed, hopefully this weekend, then we can begin on Baby Green's room. I think I have the bedding all picked out from Pottery Barn Kids. I'm off next Friday so we're taking a road trip to St. Louis to Babies R Us to shop for the baby. I can't wait!
6. Wicked was awesome on Saturday!! It puts a whole new spin on The Wizard of Oz. But let me just ask you one question: Have you ever been about 6 months pregnant and walked about 2 miles through the ghetto in downtown St. Louis in flip flops when it's about 100 degrees outside? I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!! I'm pretty sure every cuss word in the book came out of my mouth and I think my mother-in-law was figuring out how close the nearest hospital was....
7. Chase starts his new preschool next Tuesday. I'm excited but nervous. I know he will have fun, but he has had one-on-one attention since he was 3 months old so I'm afraid he will think I have done something awful to him by dropping him off at this strange place.
8. We scheduled our 3D/4D ultrasounds for July 29. I'm pretty excited! I can't believe I only have 3 months left! It has gone so much faster this time. Makes me kind of sad.
9. I am ready for a long weekend! We went to see a firework show last Saturday night and Chase loved it. He kept saying "pow pow" when the fireworks went off and then after the explosion disappeared he would say "where it go? where it go?" He thought they were pretty hilarious.
10. Kyle has been a little work horse lately. He gets up at 4:30 and doesn't get home until after 6. He's exhausted and the heat is killing him, but the money is pretty darn nice. He's getting really skinny though from sweating so much. I know he is ready for a long weekend to relax, but after Chase's room gets done first though. :)
11. We are getting closer to picking out names for the baby. I have my top 3 girl names and my top 2 boy names picked out....it's hard! Kyle doesn't love any name, he just says that they all are "all right." But then again, he also didn't like the name Chase until I told him that it meant 'hunter.'
12. I can't get enough chocolate right now. I want chocolate cookies, chocolate candy, chocolate cake, chocolate milk, chocolate brownies, and chocolate candy bars. Oh, and cheesey potatoes!

10 on Tuesday
1. Sorry no posts last week. Last week was a crazy, busy week! First, Chase got pink eye, and then he got a nasty croupy cough.
2. I'm headed to the doctor this afternoon. Last week I was sick with some sort of nasty stomach nonsense, and now I have a terrible cough and my chest is just full of gunk. Enough already! I'm sick of peeing my pants everytime I have a coughing fit! The baby just bounces all over my bladder when the coughs get going.
3. We went to Menard's last weekend to get paint and on the way there Chase asked "where we going?" Well, the menards jingle "Save big money at Menard's" sound a little something like that I told Chase. I told him that we were going to "Shave big bunny at Menard's." I thought it was pretty funny. So as we pull into Menard's parking lot, Chase starts crying in the backseat and says "I wanna see bunny!" My bad. Because of me, he thought we were going to see a real bunny. Oops! Anyway, his room is painted now and looks really good. Time to move onto the playroom now!
4. Chase's last day at daycare was last week. Pretty sad because he's been with the same lady since he was 3 months old. He is now at Grandma's house until he starts Preschool. Big changes ahead!
5. I bought Chase his first pack of big boy undies. He picked out Cars. They are so cute!!! I just want to squeeze him sometimes he is so dang cute!
6. Chase has a really bad habit right now of saying "what?" everytime we say something to him. He will repeat it over and over and over again. I have stopped repeating what I said. If he doesn't hear me the first time, then too bad! :)
7. I feel so bad for Kyle today. The heat index is like 107 and he is working out in this terrible heat. I'm sure he is miserable. I know I am sick and tired of this heat. Enough already! The pool has become my very best friend.
8. Speaking of pool. When Chase got home last night he acted like he wanted to get in the pool, but didn't want to take his tennis shoes off. So him and Kyle swam in the pool fully clothed. Shoes, socks and all! It was pretty cute.
9. We are on the hunt for a laptop. Now we just have to learn about them so we know what to buy. I cannot wait!
10. Everybody seems to think the new baby is a girl. I haven't come across one person that thinks it's a boy. I personally think it's a boy. And the only thing I have to back that up is that I had a dream I gave birth to a baby boy, with an adult face, two months early, and everybody was in the delivery room taking pictures with their cell phones.
11. Have a lot to say since I posted nothing last week. Chase took a wipeout at the pool last Friday. Luckily I wasn't there to see it. But he stepped out of the pool and slipped, causing him to fall back on his head. Luckily he didn't have a concussion (spelling?), they were actually pretty surprised that his head didn't crack open. Thank goodness! I'm just glad I wasn't there, I would have freaked out.
12. I sometimes forget that Chase is only two, even though he tells us all the time. The little guy's vocabulary is just insane. Hid doctor said it's very advanced for his age. The things that come out of his mouth crack me up! We were eating at my parent's house on Sunday and he noticed that the bathroom light was on in the hallway and he asked Kyle "Grammy poop?" Kyle told him no, so then he asked "Daddy poop?" He is talking full sentences all the time and asking so many questions! Stop growing, please. It's breaking my heart! :(
13. I cannot wait for Saturday! We are going to see Wicked in St. Louis and I am so excited!

10 on Tuesday
1. It's a stormy Tuesday and I'm loving it! Would be a great day to lounge on the couch and watch Lifetime movies!
2. Speaking of Lifetime, I got to watch a whole Lifetime movie. The WHOLE THING! I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to do that. It was a good time! Chase ended up sleeping until 10:00 on Sunday, so he took a late nap that afternoon. Which I took the opportunity to veg out.
3. We had our 20 week ultrasound last week and the baby looks very healthy! Chubby little cheeks, round belly, and super skinny arms and legs! The heartrate was 152, weighed 14 ounces, and measured in the 56th percentile. This all means that we are looking around an 8 pound baby. I'm not surprised though considering I was 8 1/2 pounds when I was born and Chase was 8lbs 9oz. Now look at him, tall and SKINNY! When I went in for the ultrasound I still had it in my head that the baby was still really tiny (despite my very large belly), so when she had to move the doplar right up to my chest to see the head, I realized that this baby is not tiny anymore! Will probably be another long baby.
4. Chase still doesn't really understand that we will be having a baby. Sometimes when he accidentally kicks me in the belly he will say "Sowy baby" but if you ask him where the baby is he says "At Wok" Which means at work. The baby already has a job!
5. I got really teary eyed last night after Chase and I got home. It hit me like a ton of bricks that he is no longer a baby. He is now a little toddler that walks around talking in full sentences and cracking himself up. He's into asking us two questions over and over right now. 1) What's that? 2) Is it hot? And he will ask over and over and over again. He will even ask us "what's that?" when he already know what it is. He thinks everything is hot. I think it's because I have scared him to death of the stove and my flat iron.
6. Chase saw a snake on TV the other night and ran away from the TV saying 'It hurt me." I have no idea where he learned this, but yes Chase that thing will hurt you. Run as far away as you can and scream like a little girl!
7. Kyle got his first paycheck last week with his new raise and it was so nice! We are planning on buying him a brand new John Deere in the next couple of weeks. I know Chase will be very excited about having a new "tacta" (tractor) at his house.
8. It is time to move Chase out of his toddler bed and into his twin size bed he has waiting for him. I got his new bedding last weekend and now we just need to wash it all. Then it's time to turn Chase's playroom into the baby's room. He's going to be like what the *#$#?!
9. I found a house that I thought I really loved, but it is on the corner of the road and Kyle has this idea that if we live on the corner then a car will end up flying into our living room. Ok Kyle, the speed limit is 35 and it's a country road. Like I said before, he is soooooo picky about picking a house. Here is the house:

10 on Tuesday
1. It's June 1st and I have my first sunburn of the year! OUCH. Just on my thighs, cheest and shoulders. But still, it hurts! Chase escaped the holiday weekend without a sunburn, but that's because I'm the sunscreen nazi according to Kyle.
2. I am officially half way done with this pregnancy and the nesting has kicked in big time! Last weekend was Chase's closet, drawers, and the basement that I tackled. On Sunday I tackled my closet and my drawers. The bags for goodwill just keep stacking up! I also scrubbed about everything that could be scrubbed. Then I realized that the baby's room is still known as Chase's playroom and I momentarily started to freak out. We haven't done a THING! The only thing we have done is we bought a new swing for the baby. That's it.
3. We upgraded Chase's toddler bedding to twin size bedding on Saturday. Time to move him to the twin bed! With guardrails of course...that boy flips and flops around all night long.
4. Kyle find out last week that he is getting a raise, a BIG one! That means we have both gotten a pretty hefty raise this year. That should help out with our mortgage sized daycare bill we'll have.
5. With June 1 brings a new allotment of vacation time. It was so nice coming in this morning and seeing 3 weeks staring back at me. And I only work 3 days this week!
6. We have our "BIG" ultrasound on Friday, but we will not be finding out the gender as I have said before. We did the same thing with Chase and I couldn't picture a better surprise. So that ultrasound lady better not slip up and accidentally tell us. That was my fear with Chase. I may just knock her out if she does! :) After my two doctor appointments I'm going to take Chase by his new preschool so he can meet everybody. I'm scheduling little allotments of time off in the next few weeks so I can take him by there before his first official day.
7. My friend Whitney had her baby last night, the gender was also a surprise. She had a girl name Devin Ray. Super cute!!
8. It's a good thing that the southside of town does not have a DQ, because I would be headed there in about 6 minutes. I NEED a chocolate extreme blizzard in my life right now!!
9. Kyle and I roasted marshmallows last night and made smores after Chase went to bed. I'm telling you, I cannot get enough of those things. We could both eat them until we were sick.
10. I am still having to take baths with Chase. Not sure when this little habit is going to break. I thought it was only temporary because his bottom was sore, but now when I turn the bath water on he runs up to me and starts to take my clothes off for me. Good grief boy! We even got him a new Spider Man mat for the tub thinking that would help. Nope. It's my butt sitting on Spider Man, not Chase's.
