10 on Tuesday
1. Where has the time gone?? Chase's birthday is only 3 weeks away!
2. I cannot wake up this morning. This rain needs to go away. All I can think about is wanting to go home and curl up for a nap.
3. I have found a new home for our cat Lily. Kyle is pretty sad, he's really attached to her. But I can't take her anymore! Super sweet and cute, but geez she requires a lot of attention.
4. Kyle had a job interview yesterday for a really good company, so I'm praying he gets the job. He would start out as an apprentice but would be making some wonderful moolah in a few years!!
5. Our friends Justin and Jessi should be having a baby boy today. Today was induction day!
6. My mom's scrapbook picture albums have become a big hit at my work. Lots of people are placing orders for one. They are way too cute! She just did one for Amber's baby boy that is on the way and I wanted to keep it for myself.
7. We put swing up for Chase at home and as soon as we get out of the car he sees the swing and goes nuts. he loves that thing! The bad part is that he really throws a fit when it's time to get out. Talk about mad!
8. I'm going to the Speaking of Women's Health with my mom and mother-in-law this weekend. I've heard that it is a lot of fun, so I'm really looking forward to it.
9. Since I will be gone on Saturday, that means Kyle and Chase will be spending the day together. uh oh........
10. Chase is now pushing cars on the floor and making sounds to sound like a car. It is so cute!! Now we just need to teach him how to honk his horn!

10 on Tuesday!
1. Finally, it' warming up! I cannot wait for the warm weather to get here! My plan is to plant flowers on Saturday, can't wait!
2. Sunday is Earth day, going to take Chase. The weather is supposed to be really nice!
3. I just ate a chocolate covered vinegar chip from The Candy Factory. YUCK.
4. Chase's birthday is less than a month away. The big ONE! We have the shelter at the park reserved and the invitations will be going out later this week. I can't wait!
5. Chase is repeating everything he hears now, that's good and bad. We really have to watch what we say now. So now Kyle has been speaking to me in Spanish and I have no idea what he is calling me!
6. Chase said "Mama" nonstop all weekend long. Music to my ears. I love hearing that!
7. We survived his first three teeth coming in on the bottom with no sweat. But no, Chase has four teeth on the top all trying to come in at the same time. One is just about ready to poke through and show it's pearly white head. He has been kind of "off" and a little cranky, but not too bad. I thought this teething thing would be rough stuff.
8. I found out that I am supposed to be going to Louisana the week of June 22nd for work. I don't know if I can leave my baby for that long!
9. We just scored 4 free spare tires for the 4Runner! On Easter Sunday night I drove over some nails on the gravel road and blew one tire completley and gave another one a slow leak. Nice!
10. My First Mother's Day is coming up in a few weeks! So excited! There is nothing better in this world then being a mommy!

Little Bookworm
Chase's baby swing can also be used as a baby sized rocking chair, and he has been showing a real interest in just sitting in his chair lately either watching TV or looking at a book. He LOVES books and can literally spend hours looking at them. Here is a picture of him in his chair looking at his new book he got for Easter. We have to strap him in though because he really gets the chair rocking and we're afraid he will fall right out of it. He uses his whole body to get the chair going!
10 on Tuesday!
1. Brrrrr........!!! Enough said.
2. Easter was so much fun! Chase looked so cute in his Easter outfit. I'll be sure to post the pictures from Easter sometime this week.
3. Chase ended up getting 3 Easter baskets. One at home, one at Grammy and Papa's, and another one at Grandma and Grandpa's. He got a book, little baby tonka cars, a baby baseball mitt and ball, a book, two stuffed animals, play-doh, swim trunks, a monkey beach towel, and lots of candy!
4. oh, and he got money too. Added it to the collection in his piggy bank!
5. We got to spend Easter Sunday with my brother's kids, Mateesa and Trevor. It was so good to see them and they were so glad to see their cousin "Charlie Brown." I'm ready for this whole custody thing to be over so we can all relax and see my brother's kids more often.
6. Chase is a little monster! He has started to chase the cats around the house, which is hysterical to watch! He gets faster everyday.
7. Chase has become a "TV Head" (as his daddy calls him). I couldn't get his attention the other day because he was too busy looking at the TV, so as soon as he looked away I turned it off with the remote. His head spun around to look at the TV and took off crawling as fast as he could towards it, threw the pillows out of his way, and started to climb on the TV stand. He knew something was wrong with it, and by golly he was going to fix it!
8. We have to put pillows in front of the TV stand now because Chase will try to climb on the stand, and he just cannot resisit messing with the Wii.
9. Chase's 1st birthday is one month from Sunday....I cannot believe it! This past year has gone by way too fast.
10. Now that Chase can stand on his own, he loves to stand at our front door and look out the window. In the picture below he was just standing there watching it rain.

10 on Tuesday
1. Where the heck is Spring?? Tired of the cold weather!
2. The Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday was fun! Chase gave the Easter Bunny plenty of dirty looks. He got so excited when I walked him up there and could stay still, but the second I put him on the bunny's lap, he was ready to have his mama back.
3. There are some crazy parents out there! I was amazed at how much some parents care about the number of easter eggs their kids find at an egg hunt. Calm down people!
4. This is Kyle's last week in town :( He will be working out of town starting next week. Not happy about it and stressing about how I am going to do it all by myself, but it will all work out.
Between a baby, two cats, a dog, dishes, laundry, trash day, dropping off and picking up at day care, grocery shopping, etc.... I am going to be tuckered out.
5. Spent the day at my bosse's house yesterday and enjoyed an amazing lunch! That woman can cook!
6. Saturday will be my 4 year anniversary at work. It has gone by so fast! I went from teaching to Insurance.....big change. But I LOVE my job!
7. We think Chase has been saying "shut up." Oh great!
8. Chase is EVERYWHERE!! He wants to be where he is not supposed to be and wants to play with what he should not be playing with. He is determined to catch those kitties!
9. Chase has shown in interest in doing flips. He likes for us to hold his hands so he can kick his legs over his head. Kyle is all worried that Chase will want to be a gymnast. I think his height would interfere, so now worries Daddy!
10. I'm off to Hallmark to get Chase's easter card and then moving onto Jimmy Johns! YUMMY!

Easter Party
Saturday was the annual State Farm Easter Egg Hunt, so we took Chase so he could have his picture taken with the Easter Bunny and crawl around looking for eggs. Here are some of the pictures from the party.
