10 on Tuesday
1. I'm done with Winter. Done, done, done. Enough already.
2. I was walking out our front door the other night to go out to my car to get something, and I heard a noise in the tree above my head. I reacted and covered my head ( I thought it was a bird) and to my surprise a Raccoon was getting ready to jump out of the tree! So I ran back to the door and that beady-eyed creature lept out of the tree and took off running. I'm pretty sure it was on his agenda to claw my eyes out.
3. On top of that, I saw a mouse scampering around in our basement!! I am TERRIFIED of mice!! Ahh.....life in the country.
4. Chase has turned into a Cookie Monster. I bought some of Valentine cookies, those Loft House ones that are really soft and have icing and sprinkles. He would get up in the morning and walk straight to the counter where the cookies are and say "I wan (want) ceekie (cookie) peas (please)." Now how do you explain to a 20 month old that he can't have a cookie for breakfast?? Needless to say, there were tears shed. Big tears. So last night he saw the cookie box and he asked ever so nicely "I wan ceekie peas." So I gave him the last one, and he said "Tank you." It's amazing how a cookie can just light up his face.
5. I went to the mall with my Mom on Sunday, and Chase tagged along. We needed to get out of the house so bad! We were looking at t-shirts at Target and my mom got him a Flintstones Valentines Day shirt. While looking at that, we came across a Thomas the Train t-shirt and Chase smiled and said "choo choo." When we got home, I was getting Chase's new clothes out of the bags to show Kyle, and Chase starts pointing at the bag saying "choo choo." Well.....we didn't buy the Thomas shirt. But Chase thought we did. So, I guess I will be going back to Target.
6. I forgot to mention last week that Chase turned 20 months old last week! Only 4 months until he turns 2!! :(
7. We used to go to the store and other kids would point at Chase and say "Baby!" But now Chase points at babies and says "Baby!" What happened to my baby???
8. Kyle is working in this awful artic weather this week. I feel bad for him. He worked in it yesterday and then had to go to Hallsville to officiate two games. He was wiped out last night. But he brought home lots of money, so we're good. :) Time to pay some bills. Oh wait....I meant the GAS BILL! That brings me back to my original comment. I'm sick of Winter.
9. When we are driving somewhere in the car now, Chase says about 100 times "Where we going?" And he'll let you know if he doesn't want to go there!
10. The Bachelor was full of drama last night! I really hope he picks Tenley. She is my favorite and they are super cute together. Vienna?? She needs to go!

10 on Tuesday
1.10 things are going to be hard to come up with this week……
2.The weather is finally warming up!! I am SOOOOOO sick of Winter already!
3.Chase was finally able to get out and drive his John Deere gator last night. We have been waiting since Christmas day for all the snow to melt. The boy needs some serious driving lessons! Video to come soon…
4.Chase has become obsessed with his cousin Brooke. It’s Brooke this and Brooke that…Brooke, Brooke, Brooke! I think that boy needs a sibling!
5.Chase’s ‘thing’ right now is saying “Where’d it go?” He will throw something or hide something and ask “Where’d it go?” He could play this game for hours! We played this game the other night for about 30 minutes, and every time Chase would hide Thomas under the SAME blanket in the SAME spot. It got really old, but hearing him say “Where’d it go?” and seeing him hold up his little arms was worth it!
6.I know I say this every week, but Chase is talking up a storm. Everyday that little boy amazes me. He is saying “love you” now and it just melts my heart. Video of that to come soon too!
7.Our plan is to go see Avitar this weekend. Everybody talks about how good it is, so we are going to go check it out. I got movie passes as my Christmas gift from work, and we still have two left. We used the other ones to go see The Blind Side, which was awesome!
8.I got to order my 5 year work Anniversary gift last week, and I chose to get a Sony DVD player. The other one can be devoted to Chase’s DVD’s now. We are getting a treadmill, so I may put that one downstairs so it will help me get motivated to stay on that thing.
9.Biggest Lose AND American Idol come on tonight! Woo hoo!
10.I got nothing for #10.

10 on Tuesday
1. Whew! It's a heat wave! A steamy 20 degrees outside!
2. Chase is finally over whatever that crud was that he had. He is healthy again and is a super happy boy! He has been something else lately. He thinks he is quite the comedian.
3. I don't think Kyle and I are meant to go out with friends. We had plans to go to dinner with some friends on Saturday night and Kyle ended up getting VERY sick Friday night and it lasted throughout the day on Saturday. Vomiting and diarrhea (I'm sure he would appreciate me sharing this). Not sure if it was some sort of bug or food poisoning. I'm guessing food....he ate at a Chinese Buffet for lunch on Friday. It seems like EVERY time we have plans, something always comes up.
4. I'm eating the HyVee version of a Nutrigrain bar, and it sucks. Doesn't even come close to the real deal.
5. Anybody else watch The Bachelor last night?? Talk about some drama! Rozlyn got sent home for being a little floozy. She hooked up with one of the staffers of The Bachelor. Naughty, Naughty!
6. Doing a 5K this weekend. But it doesn't look like it is supposed to be very warm....which already has me nervous. I don't want to make my sinuses any worse than they already are.
7. We had a death in the family last week. Kyle's Tahoe died. It has gone to car heaven. I think Kyle is sad to see it go. The mechanic in Harrisburg is going to buy it from Kyle though. He'll probably put a new motor in it and resell it, but we couldn't see any point in us paying $1,500 for a new motor. So.....Goodbye Tahoe, you have lived a very eventful life! The plan right now is to just buy something for a couple thousand dollars to get him by for now. He just needs some sort of truck for work, nothing fancy. We use my car for all of our regular travel. His truck is always just used for hunting and work.
8. American Idol starts tonight. But I have a conflict, it comes on the same time as The Biggest Loser. Guess I will be switching back and forth a lot.
9. Naptime and bedtime has gotten hard for us at home. For some reason, Chase cries his little heart out now when we lay him down and grabs onto me really tight. It breaks my heart to just walk away from his while he is crying, but he always stops within 1 minute of me leaving his room. He's also been having bad dreams during the night, or we think that's what it is. But he always goes right back to sleep after we go in there.
10. I've been trying to get a video of Chase saying "choo choo" but as soon as I break out the camera he stops. Go figure! He is talking so much now and repeats everything he hears. So Kyle and I are are working very hard on cleaning up our language. And we are trying to teach him to say "excuse me" when he burps. Right now he just laughs.

10 on Tuesday
1.I am so tired of Winter already. This cold weather is just ridiculous.
2.Chase is officially obsess with Thomas the Train. He can spot Thomas from miles away and goes bananas when he sees Thomas. During his bath, he lines up Thomas and his friends on the side of the tub and pushes them along saying ‘Choo Choo’. So cute!!
3.He likes me to play trains with him, but he NEVER lets me play Thomas. Only Chase can play Thomas, I always have to be Salty or Percy. He is such a Thomas whore!
4.Kyle’s off all week. Too cold to work. I wish my job was dependent on the weather…..but I still got paid. That would be ideal!
5.I have a feeling this is going to be a very long week. It’s the first full week of work in a long time. If I can just make it to Friday, we’ll be good!
6.There is a chance for like 5 inches of snow on Thursday. Did I say I was tired of Winter already?? I don’t remember Winter ever being this cold.
7.The new season of Biggest Loser starts tonight. I cannot wait! But the only problem is that American Idol also starts next Tuesday night, so there will be a scheduling conflict every Tuesday night….what to do, what to do……
8.We played Uno Attack on New Years Eve and Chase absolutely loved it! He got such a kick out of pressing the button and having cards spit out and hit him in the face. I have never seen him laugh that hard. It was hilarious!
9.Chase’s vocabulary is just exploding these past couple of weeks!! He is repeating everything he hears and is starting to sound like a little boy, not a baby anymore. He is quickly turning into a little boy!
10.Chase refuses to let Kyle dress him in the mornings now. I don’t know what it is, but he runs from him screaming “no, no, no!” He runs to me and then starts giggling and then sits perfectly still while I dress him. Kyle just rolls his eyes. What can I say? He’s a mommy’s boy!
11.A bonus! Chase’s “new thing” is that when we start dancing to music, he holds his arm up in the air, shakes it, and says “Go go go go!” I’m starting to think he’s sneaking out at night and going to dance parties……..
